Manchester United and Manchester City are reportedly battling a number of clubs to sign a Monaco starlet.
According to Foot Mercato, France under-17 international
defender Benoît Badiashile is attracting interest from a range of top
European clubs.
Bayern Munich, RB Leipzig, FC Barcelona as well as City and United are all battling it out for the 16-year-old.
According to CityWatch, Badiashile is “a left-footed central
defender” and is considered “one of the jewels of Monaco’s academy”.
Monaco have recently lost a trio of star players, including
Kylian Mbappé (PSG), Benjamin Mendy (City) and Bernardo Silva (City).
The Ligue 1 club have acted accordingly, and have opened talks with Badiashile over a professional contract.
