Manchester United look set to miss out on Antoine Griezmann
after Barcelona representatives met with his family, with a transfer
looking likely in January. Diego Costa will be the man to replace
Griezmann in the winter, when he is registered from Chelsea. Barcelona
will gain a more direct forward than they usually use, and will now have
Lionel Messi, Ousmane Dembele, Luis Suarez and Griezmann to choose
from.
Good news! We don’t get to sign a player who indulges in racist blackface and then doesn’t properly apologise in any way when people point out that what he is doing is very racist. NB
If you are also so racist you don’t consider this racist, do not try to
defend the racism in the comments below. There are many alternative
platforms for you to express your racism, such as Twitter, where it is
actively encouraged.
Ex-Manchester United central defender Jonny Evans could become new Manchester United central defender Jonny Evans.
While he is no worse than Phil Jones or Chris Smalling, he is only
barely better than them. He is awful in possession, and rarely produced a
good display when he didn’t have a senior partner alongside him. Avoid.
Manchester United will apparently make a £60m bid for Juventus left-back Alex Sandro.
Sandro has wanted away for a while now, Juventus are a selling club
when common sense demands it, and Ashley Young will be needed to fill in
on the right flank if Antonio Valencia’s injury, suffered against West
Brom, is serious. Chelsea almost had him last year, but noted transfer
expert Ed Woodward is clearly the man to get this one over the line.
Nemanja Matic believes that Scott McTominay is good enough to play for England.
At the start, that sounds like praise, but when you look at the England
squad these days, it might just be a dig at Gareth Southgate’s squad,
really.
