Manchester United have been interested in signing Gareth Bale for a
long time now and the latest reports going on in the media are
interesting.
According to Diario Gol,
Bale knows that time at the Bernabey is coming to an end and that is
why he has already reached a pre-agreement with the Red Devils.
The former Tottenham superstar was mostly on the treatment table in
the last campaign and things have not changed this season as well.
In the current campaign, the 28-year-old playmaker has only featured
11 times for the reigning European Champions, scored 4 goals and
provided 5 assists.
The Spanish source have mentioned that Mourinho has convinced the
owners of Man Utd to sign Gareth and the Portuguese manager has already
spoken with the Welsh star as well.
Diario Gol further claim that the only thing left for Man United is
to convince the Los Blancos and in this case, the price might be an
obstacle. Real want to get at least 90 million euros from Bale’s sale
but the Old Trafford club do not want to offer more than 60 million
euros.
Bale’s current deal with the Spanish giants will expire in 2022 and he earns around £350,000-a-week after tax (The Guardian).
