Cristiano Ronaldo’s mother says she had thought to do abortion

Dolores Aveiro, the mother of Portugal national football squad and Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo, has admitted in her book that she had considered having an abortion when she was pregnant with her son.

“[At that time] I already had three children; I tried to have an abortion and I couldn’t,” Globo Esporte cites the respective passage from this book.

“Good because Cristiano was the star that illuminated my life. I want to tell women not to do this [abortion]. Let them think and fight!”
